Soft seat questions
I looked through 6 months of this forum and saw several people asking if a soft seat is comfortable enough for an overnight (12-14 hour) trip -- but no answers.

Two questions:

1. Do the soft seats recline, like in an airplane?
2. Do the rows of soft seats face each other on some trains or do the rows all face in the same direction?

BTW - Thank you Ken for an amazing website. I've never seen so much useful information on train travel (all in one place) before this.

Yes, it can recline in a few range, however one can not lay down.

2. Do the rows of soft seats face each other on some trains or do the rows all face in the same direction?
They have both situations.

For an overnight trip, a sleeper, no matter hard of soft is better then soft seat.
